The Chicago Nightcrawlers are four experienced musicians who came together to fill our nights.
They are:

Paul Wheeler
Paul is a harp player & vocalist with decades of experience playing Chicago’s concert stages. He has done blues, classic rock, country, R & B, and gospel with some of the area’s best musicians.

Pete Gisslen
Pete’s introduction to the blues followed his move to Los Angeles in the late eighties. There, he was introduced to not only traditional Chicago style blues but also the West Coast Jump blues popular at that time. Pete played the guitar at many blues jams around LA before joining several groups and playing in the Southern California area. After moving to the Chicago area in 2003, he found more blues bands and jams to join. Some of Pete’s influences include the Three Kings as well as Albert Collins, Buddy Guy and Otis Rush.

John Nash
John is a pocket bass player who has graced many different bands playing rock, jazz, blues, R & B, and more.

Steve Fleischman
Steve has lived on the southside of Chicago all his life, and was exposed to some of the greatest blues music around. Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Howlin Wolf, Jimmy Johnson, Hound Dog Taylor, Magic Sam, just to name a few. They were the pioneers of Chicago electric blues. They were the coolest of cool. He has been playing their music religiously for the last fifty years. A few bands he has played in were Off the Wall Blues Band, Blues Next, The Chicago Blues Hounds, Voodoo Jones, and now Chicago Nightcrawlers Electric Blues Band.
